VibeHunt Terms of UseEffective date: To be set at launch
These terms are the agreement between you and Ryo Hilmawan, who runs VibeHunt ("VibeHunt", "we"). By creating an account or using the app or the vibehunt.app website (the "Service"), you agree to them. If VibeHunt becomes a company, the agreement carries on with that company in our place; we'll update this page and tell you in the app before that happens.
Summary
Hunts happen in the real world, and you are responsible for your own safety while playing.
Hunts you create are public. Your photos are private.
You must be 13 or older, keep your account secure, and follow the content rules.
The Service is in beta and is provided as is. Features may change or be removed.
These terms are governed by Singapore law. Questions can be sent to support@vibehunt.app.
1. What VibeHunt isVibeHunt is a game of real-world hunts: players create and complete location-based activities, photograph them, and earn points. The Service is in beta. Features may change, break, or be removed, and we may need to reset content or progress before a full launch. We'll notify you in the app before any reset that affects your data.
2. Who can use itYou must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By creating one, you confirm you meet this requirement.
3. Your accountYou're responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your sign-in method secure, and tell us at support@vibehunt.app if you believe someone else has accessed it. You can delete your account at any time in Settings, at vibehunt.app/data-deletion, or by emailing privacy@vibehunt.app. See the Privacy Policy for what deletion covers.
4. Play safelyHunts happen in the real world. You are responsible for your own safety while playing.
Stay aware of your surroundings. Never interact with the app while driving or cycling.
Obey the law. Don't trespass; a hunt's presence at a place is not permission to enter it.
Judge conditions yourself. Weather, terrain, traffic, and the place itself are yours to assess; a hunt existing doesn't mean it's safe or lawful to attempt.
Don't create hunts that need players to enter private property, break the law, or take physical risks.
You play at your own risk. To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from your decision to visit any location or attempt any hunt.
5. Your contentHunts you create are public. Any player can see them. Photos you take with completions are private to you.You keep ownership of everything you create. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute your content so we can operate and promote the Service. For public hunts, this licence survives account deletion with your identity removed, so other players' completions keep working. You can delete any hunt no one has completed at any time.Don't post content that:
is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or violent
targets a private individual, or shares someone's personal information
infringes someone else's rights, including copyright
directs players to dangerous or prohibited places
is spam, advertising, or a scam
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules, with notice where practical. To report a hunt or a player, email support@vibehunt.app with a link or the name; we review every report promptly.
6. Our contentThe Service itself (the app, site, design, and code) belongs to us or our licensors. These terms don't give you any rights in it beyond using the Service. Map data comes from Mapbox and is subject to its terms.
7. Ending the agreementYou can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and we may discontinue the Service (or the beta) with reasonable notice. Sections 4, 5 (the licence), 8, and 9 survive the end of this agreement.
8. Warranties and liabilityThe Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. This is beta software and will have bugs.To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to SGD 100. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, and nothing takes away consumer rights that your local law grants you and does not let you waive.
9. Governing lawThese terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts, except where your local consumer law provides otherwise.
10. App store termsIf you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, the store's own terms also apply. For the App Store: these terms are between you and us, not Apple; Apple has no obligation to provide support or handle claims relating to the app; and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms with the right to enforce them against you. You confirm you are not located in an embargoed country and are not on any government prohibited-parties list.
11. ChangesWe may update these terms as the Service evolves. We'll post changes here and update the effective date, and for material changes we'll notify you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
